The name Red Wing Union Stoneware Company no longer reflected the product being manufactured, so the name was changed to Red Wing Potteries, Inc. in 1936. Building DescriptionI have a planter by Red Wing that I bought at an estate auction. It is 9-1/2″ tall, 10-1/2″ in diameter, with a green glazed interior. The exterior has substantial relief work.
